1973

Glunz & Jensen founded in Denmark by Peter Glunz and Bjarne Jensen. Focus: Prepress equipment for the printing industry.

1980

Growth into a global supplier of plate processors and prepress systems.

Strong OEM partnerships established (Agfa, FujiFilm, Heidelberg, Kodak).

 

1990

Listed on Copenhagen Stock Exchange.

2001

Agreement to take over Agfa’s plate processor plant in Thetford (UK).
Strengthened manufacturing and OEM collaboration.

2005

Opening of Glunz & Jensen s.r.o., Slovakia

2006

Acquisition of  K&F International (USA).
Added punch & bend systems, automation, plate-handling solutions.

2011

Majority stake acquired in Degraf S.p.A. (Italy).
Entered the flexographic and packaging prepress market.

2012

New production facility in Suzhou, China. Increased presence in Asian markets. 

2013

Acquisition of NES Worldwide Ltd. (UK).
Expanded service/support operations.

2020

Continues as a leading global manufacturer of plate processors, flexo equipment, and automated prepress solutions.

Active in over 130 countries, with operations in Denmark, Slovakia, UK, USA, Italy, and China.

Maintains long-term collaborations with the largest printing technology companies.
